Nurge hanging hoops are a great way to display your finished pieces of embroidery - they're made from beech, with a hanging hoop attached.
The inner and outer hoops of these frames are loose, and use the fabric of your embroidery to sandwich the two together - this means they aren't suitable as working frames, as they don't have the screw top to tighten the fabric.
Paraffle Note: These display hoops are my favourite way to finish off a piece of embroidery. I've never taken to displaying screw-top embroidery hoops on my walls, so these are a great solution for me - creating a clean looking frame that suits almost any room.
Tip: If the inner and outer hoops still feels loose when you're framing, no problem! Try adding a couple of French knots on the small edge between the two hoops - this will create all the width you need to firmly wedge the two together!
